What Are Cookies?

A cookie is simply a snippet of code in a text file. When you visit our site our computers ask your computer if it is alright to put this code on your machine. You have the option to allow this or not. The cookie is simply a unique identifier for your computer and session with our site.

Google has a terrific explanation of cookies below.

Cookies and advertising

As mentioned in the video above, many different advertising platforms use cookies to track your web visits. We occasionally use platforms such as Google Ads or Doubleclick to run promotions we hope you'll see.

IP Addresses

IP addresses are the actual addresses your computer uses whenever you connect to the internet. Your computer has a unique number when connecting to the internet, much like a telephone number. We collect IP addresses automatically on our servers so that the machines know what information to send to whom.
